Morphe 35V Stunning Vibes Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches & Makeup Look

Morphe 35V Stunning Vibes Eyeshadow Palette

A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed the new Morphe 35M Boss Mood Eyeshadow Palette (here) and now I’m back to share with you the Ulta exclusive 35V Stunning Vibes Eyeshadow Palette.

Out of the two newly launched palettes, I prefer the 35M more than the 35V because of the vibrant color assortment and metallic finishes, but if you’re not into bold hues like I am, then the 35V is the one for you since it has a more wearable selection of shades with a few vivid pops of color thrown in the mix.

The new 35V Stunning Vibes Eyeshadow Palette ($24.00) for 56.2 g) contains a variety of warm and cool tones in matte and shimmer finishes, as well as two metallic shades to make up the 35-color assortment. This palette definitely scream fall vibes to me with its earthy neutrals and gorgeous dark tones. The possibilities are endless and I really love the variety and versatility for the price.

These eye colors are very pigmented, especially the shimmer shades, which are particularly impressive as they’re incredibly creamy and pack a ton of pigment for a one-swipe color payoff. All of these eyeshadows swatched nicely, even the matte ones, which took me by surprise because matte finishes are tougher to swatch than shimmers as they tend to have difficulty displaying a vivid color payoff during my swatch sessions — that wasn’t the case with the shades in this palette. None of the colors felt drying and were consistent throughout in terms of creaminess and softness.

With that said, I’ve only worn this palette once so far, and the color that I was most eager to try ended up being the most difficult to work with — the dark hunter green shade, Devoted. It was patchy and required more effort than the other shades that I wore, but I made it work in the end. I’m not sure if any of the other matte colors are like this — I’ll have to keep playing with the palette to find out. The two metallic shades are best applied with a wet brush in a patting motion since they’re infused with glitters and should be pressed on to achieve maximum vibrancy. Overall, this is a cute palette, but not my favorite from Morphe.
