Naughty or Nice feat. Buxom Cosmetics

Buxom Cosmetics

I’ve been really enjoying these Buxom Cosmetics lip liners and lip polishes, and wanted to share them with you. I received a nude set and a red set — when the two products are worn together, they give the ultimate luscious pout!

The Plumpline Lip Liners ($17.00 each for 2.1 g) can be used to shape, define, and fill in lips, and there’s also a brush on the other end for blending. They’re very smooth and pigmented, and give great color coverage without tugging or drying out lips, and stays put all day long. I didn’t notice any plumping effect with these liners, however, but that’s something that I don’t mind since I naturally have full lips already.

The Full-On Lip Polishes ($20.00 for 0.15 oz) come in a jaw-dropping collection of eighty-eight shades from high-shine to metallic to shimmer finishes. These glosses have a sheer payoff with a non-sticky formula that provides intense moisture, and also a cooling tingling sensation that’s supposed to give a gentle plumping effect — I enjoyed the tingling sensation, but didn’t notice any change to my plumpness. I love the vast color selection and appreciate that these glosses aren’t tacky; they give an ultra glossy effect, are super hydrating, and overall, very pleasant to wear. They pair well on top of lip liners or lipsticks for a voluptuous look, or they can be worn on their own for a moisturizing, supple finish.

The Hush Hush Plumpline Lip Liner is a deep beige pink with a warm undertone and the Sandy Full-On Lip Polish is a true nude with microscopic shimmers.

Which was your favorite lip combo? Are you more into nudes or reds? I definitely enjoy wearing nude lips, but also like the sultriness of red lips — I’m down for a little bit of everything!

Buxom Cosmetics is available at Sephora, Ulta, and Macy’s.

  1. I’m definitely a red lips woman; I was, even when it wasn’t “cool.”
I think there are now 100 shades of the Lip Polish – EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I have my eye on “Natalie,” or “Taylor,” or …
Buxom is cruelty-free, so it’s one of “my” brands.

    1. Hi Carla!

My sister is a lover of red lips also, it’s always her go-to! I love that you were ahead of the trend — red lips are such a classic! I’ve only tried these lip products from Buxom and I love them, so definitely looking forward to exploring more of the brand in the future! Thank you for stopping by! 🙂
