I introduced you all to Black Label Cosmetics back in March (read here) and expressed my excitement about their beautiful liquid lipsticks and how I looked forward to seeing their expansion with more shades, well, the brand is finally launching more colors and I have the three brand new shades to share with you today! I’m so ecstatic to see this amazing brand grow their line as I’m a huge fan of their cruelty-free and paraben-free formula.
The new liquid lipsticks ($18.00 for 3.5 g) include three ultra wearable shades that features a nude brown, cool pink, and warm berry, and will be release on 11/11. These lipsticks come in the same sleek transparent ombre packaging with the good ol’ liquid-to-matte formula of the original three shades.
These liquid lipsticks have a lightweight, true-to-color formula that applies on smoothly and evenly to give a beautiful, smooth pigmentation. They have a flat matte finish with no shine and are completely budge-proof once they dry down after a few seconds. The colors required two coats for a full coverage and were very easy to work with, layering on nicely without being patchy, which I appreciate. On me, these lip colors weren’t drying, but if you’re prone to dry lips, then definitely moisturize first before application to allow for a more comfortable wear. As for longevity, these lipsticks lasted six hours with minimal eating and drinking, and gradually faded starting from the center of the lips.
Nylon is a muted nude brown with a soft pink undertone; I love how wearable this color is and think its versatility will suit a variety of skin tones.
Modern Love is bright cool-toned dolly pink; it’s a very pretty and feminine shade, but I’ll need to pair it with a lip liner to make it more suitable for my warm skin tone.
Svelte is a rich berry with a warm undertone; I’m so in love with this shade — it’s not too deep, so it’s suitable for day or night, and is perfect for the fall/winter!
These new liquid lipstick shades will launch on 11/11 at BlackLabelCosmetics.Com.
