“Grandmother, what big eyes you have!”

My second Halloween look [check out my Kitty Kat look here] is a fun twist to the storybook tale of Red Riding Hood. I stuck to my usual makeup style with matte smokey eyes, fluffy false eyelashes, and a bold red lip to complement my costume, but then, added faux bloody claw marks on the right side of my face for a glam x gore finish. I created the SFX using basic items like Elmer’s glue, toilet paper, and simple makeup products — if you’re interested, I have a detailed step-by-step tutorial from last year on how to create these fake wounds here. It’s so fun to do and not difficult at all! I hope you all enjoyed this look!

Here is my Red Riding Hood costume — I loved this outfit so much, especially the full length satin cape! The quality of these pieces are beautiful and I really did feel like I was in a fairy tale!
