Simple Smokey Eye Makeup Pictorial feat. Giorgio Armani Eye Tints

I recently got my hands on the new eye tints from Giorgio Armani, courtesy of Influenster, and have to honestly say, they’re pretty freaking bomb! I was skeptical at first of the liquid formula (fearing that it, combined with my oily lids, will be a catastrophe), but once I tried on the eye tints, they pushed all of my concerns aside and left me highly impressed. The liquid formula, which isn’t runny and is more on the creamy spectrum, dries down within a few seconds to a crease-free and smudge-proof, powder-like finish that doesn’t budge and lasts all day long. I appreciate how workable these eye colors are and love that they apply on effortlessly, blend seamlessly, and are easily build-able. They have great pigmentation and don’t need to be used with a primer underneath to achieve a vibrant, long wearing finish, which is wonderful.

I have three out of the eighteen shades: 12 Gold Ashes (golden champagne with a metallic finish), 21 Fur Smoke (matte dark brown with a warm undertone), and 24 Nude Smoke (dark beige with a matte finish).

I created a simple smokey eye look using the three eye tints and only used two makeup brushes to achieve the entire look. You can use your fingers or brushes to blend out these colors as they’re very easy to work with and requires little to no effort to get the desired results.

The tutorial:

Step 1: Apply the 24 Nude Smoke eye tint all over the lid, then use fingers to blend out the dark beige color.

Step 2: With the 21 Fur Smoke eye tint, apply the warm dark brown shade onto the outer lid.

Step 3: Use fingers or a tapered blending brush to diffuse the color, gently blending the color inward onto the upper crease; apply another layer on the outer corner and blend again for more intensity.

Step 4: Line the lower lash line with the warm dark brown eye tint.

Step 5: Take a pencil brush and buff out the brown color on the lower lash for a smokey effect; deepen the coloration for more depth by applying on another layer.

step 6: Highlight the brow bone and inner corner of the eye with the 12 Gold Ashes eye tint.

Step 7: Create a sharp wing on the upper lash line with a black liquid eyeliner.

Step 8: Finish the eye look by applying a coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes, then add on a pair of wispy false eyelashes for a sultry effect.

Voilà!

Here is the completed makeup look:
