There’s a lavender farm that I have always wanted to visit, so we decided to finally go this weekend. The location and place was rustic and beautiful, but unfortunately, the lavenders are having a rough time this year due to record rainfall here in the Northeast. This has affected the field conditions and thus, damaging the lavender plants (they’re drought tolerant and crave sunlight, so wet fields and excessive water have a destructive effect on them). I hope that next year is going to be a better season for all of the lavender farmers who are being affected by this crazy rainy weather! 💜
I still enjoyed my time at this lovely place (for privacy reasons, I can’t disclose where) and had a lot of fun exploring the property. There were many great photo opportunities, so as always, I took advantage of it.

The weather was just perfect and I decided to wear my gorgeous new floral dress from Piper & Scoot. The white and blue floral pattern is stunning, and I especially adore the tiered ruffle skirt that beautifully cascades from the structured waistband. It fits amazingly well and true-to-size (I’m wearing my regular size medium), and exudes femininity and elegance. I’m so in love with it! You can use my discount code “LIENJAE15” for 15% off of your purchase at PiperAndScoot.Com.
I styled the dress with these trendy rose gold hair clips and round rattan earrings by Dynamo, a rectangle rattan handbag, and the most comfortable pair of brown chunky heels in my collection. This look was so cute, effortless, and comfy!

We strolled around the serene pond in the back of the 25-acre property before heading to see the lavender fields. It was so peaceful here!

Who else loves covered bridges?! They’re so picturesque and pretty!

I walked by these wild ferns and wanted to stoop down to take a photo with them — they’re one of my favorite plants.

This adorable little white and purple colored train takes visitors on a tour around the property. We didn’t get to ride it this time, but hopefully on our next visit.

There are over 9,000 lavender plants here!

Some lavender buds are blooming. You can also see the damaging aftermath of a rainy season on these heat-loving plants; we saw a lot of dry lavender bushes, which are going be replaced and replanted in the upcoming weeks. I was so sad that I couldn’t see these lavenders in full bloom.

Then there’s this darling gazebo! It would look so dreamy and romantic if it was decked out with lights at night — Twilight vibes!

As you can see, I was very happy to be here.

A cute farmhouse.

A random flower bush that I thought was pretty.

After the lavender farm, I wanted to drop by my favorite nursery to look at more flowers! It was a flower-filled day! 😍

Hibiscus flowers are truly so gorgeous and exotic — love the tropical allure!

I wore my super cute retro inspired sunglasses from Open Your Eyes Sunnies — the funky cool octagon design is so fun for summer (use discount code “LIEN” for 10% off).

I wish I could be surrounded by gorgeous flowers all the time.

I would love be a professional flower/plant photographer — I had so much fun taking photos of all these beauties!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and seeing all these flower photos brightened up your day. Flowers always cheer me up, whether in physical form or through art forms.
