I don’t usually do challenges, but this time, I gave in to the hype and transformed myself into a Bratz doll. I’ve been obsessed with all of the beautiful creations on Instagram, so I thought it would be fun to create a look as well.
The doll look that I chose centers around smokey cut-crease eyes with dramatic wing eyeliner and dark plum lips. Everything about this creation is ultra glam and bold and I really loved that. This makeup look was fairly simple for me to achieve since I’ve done similar styles before; the tricky part, however, was figuring out how to elongate my eyes to attain the pretty almond shape similar to the doll’s. The solution: creating an inner corner wing with eyeliner will give a super sultry, cat-eye result, while also providing a lengthening effect for bigger looking eyes. Another trick to opening up the eyes to make them appear larger is to avoid lining the waterline, instead, apply eyeliner only to the lash line. You’ll see that I did that with this makeup look, but also use this method whenever I wear makeup (I never wear eyeliner on the waterline because it makes my eyes smaller than they already are, so I love to line my lower lash lines with an eyeshadow instead to add depth).
