I have a long overdue Korean makeup haul to share with you today. I’m so thankful to the team over at KollectionK.Com for sending me these amazing products to try. They’re a Korea based company that specializes in all things Korean beauty, offering a huge variety of skincare and makeup products on their website that’s like heaven for any K-beauty addict!
For my haul, I decided to stick to all makeup items since I love Korean cosmetics. Seriously, they have the most adorable packaging — it’s impossible to resist their cuteness! ✿ ^-^ ✿
Blushes are my favorites to collect, so whenever I get a chance to, I always try to add a new one to my makeup stash. I saw the It’s Skin Babyface Petit Blusher and thought it was too cute not to get! I got shade #03 Rose, which is a satin cool pink color with microscopic shimmers. The powder feels very soft and has nice pigmentation — it can be built up for more vibrancy if desired. Overall, it gives a very pretty and natural flush of color, and I really love how easily it applies on.
I wanted to add more single eyeshadows to my collection, so I picked out two of the Innisfree My Palette My Eyeshadow singles; they come in an array of colors with three finishes (matte, shimmer, and glitter). I got shades #16 (Glitter) and #39 (Matte).
#16 (Glitter) is a golden peach with a beautiful sparkly finish. It has a cream-to-powder texture and is very pigmented! It’s such a pretty color and is so mesmerizing to look at!
#39 (Matte) is a richly pigmented, ultra dark brown. It feels super soft and creamy, and gives an intense, true-to-color payoff. I love to use this eyeshadow to line my lash lines or for deepening the outer areas of the eyes.
A K-beauty haul would be incomplete for me if I didn’t include Etude House, my favorite Korean beauty brand. I’m so ecstatic to add these three eyeshadow palettes from them to my collection! Each palette has a specific color theme and contains ten shades with various finishes. These eyeshadows, unlike in the West, are less pigmented to give a soft and more natural effect, so if you’re expecting intense pigmentation from these colors, then you will be disappointed. However, if you like trying new products and prefer a light and natural makeup look, then these palettes are great!
I love the formulations of these eyeshadows because they’re soft, non-patchy, easily workable, and long wearing. There’s a nice variety of colors, textures, and finishes to create numerous eye looks. You’ll find some colors to be sheerer than others, and some will need a bit more layering, but overall, they’re lovely. The packaging is quite slim as well, so it’s great for traveling. I’ve worn all three palettes throughout the last few weeks and I love them all.
The Play Color Eyes #Cherry Blossom eyeshadow palette caught my eye immediately because of the pink cherry blossom theme. This palette is so cute and the colors are all very wearable — yes, even that bright fuchsia (it’s actually quite subtle when applied and not so intimidating).
Since the shade names are all in Korean, I had to do a little research to find the English translations for them.

The Play Color Eyes #Juice Bar eyeshadow palette has a lovely orange and brown color scheme. I love the pops of color among the neutrals — these are all beautiful colors that I’ve come to be obsessed with! I wish the pan sizes were bigger, so there could be more product.

Being the lipstick addict that I am, I had to include some lipsticks in this makeup haul. First up, we have the Innisfree Real Fit Creamy Lipstick in #7, a berry red. This formulation is amazing — super creamy, pigmented, and hydrating. The color applies beautifully and evenly without any streaking, and lasts about four hours with minimal eating and drinking.
In addition, I also got the Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in shade #5, which has a cool dual-color concept that’s supposed to give an effortless gradient effect. This bright cool-toned pink color is beautiful and I really enjoy the richly pigmented and creamy formula of this lipstick. The color lasts well and wears nicely, and the effortless ombre finish is so pretty! It’s quite fun to apply and makes it so easy to achieve the lip trend. One thing to note is you have to pay attention during application as the two colors can smudge together.
Last, but not least, are these two adorable TONYMOLY Petite Bunny Gloss Bars in shades #03 and #05. These lip tints ome in a super cute swivel-up bunny packaging and have an immensely moisturizing formula that offers a sheer color and glossy finish. I really enjoy these gloss bars — they feel great, look great, and smell great!
#03 Juicy Apple gives a soft pink tint.
#05 Juicy Peach gives a delicate peachy tint.
For this minimal makeup look, I wore a light layer of foundation, concealer, and powder for my base with subtle contouring and a flush of color on the cheeks (I used the It’s Skin Babyface Petit Blusher in #03 Rose). I opted for soft brows and light colors on the eyes with no eyeliner (I wore colors from the Play Color Eyes #Cherry Blossom eyeshadow palette), finished off with a a pair of wispy false eyelashes. On my lips, I wore the lovely Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in #5.
