Mehron has been in the beauty game since 1927 and is one of my favorite brands for beauty and performance makeup. I’ve been a huge fan of their products and line for years and every time that I get to add a new item to my collection, I cherish it like a baby and it takes me a while to actually use it. Needless to say, Mehron’s products are deeply rooted in my heart and I’m super excited to share my latest addition with you — the Earth INtense Pro Pressed Pigment Palette ($54.00 for 24 g). I have an obsession with Mehron’s eyeshadow palettes — the color selections are always so unique, daring, and bold, and I just can’t get enough of them!
The Earth INtense Pro Pressed Pigment Palette ($54.00 for 24 g) is an all-matte palette, containing eight large eye colors with both warm and cool tones, neutrals and brights. I really like the way that this palette is structured — the warm shades are placed on the top of the palette and the cool tones are on the bottom, so you get a good sense on how to use the colors when you look at the arrangement. These eyeshadows have a fairly dry matte texture and don’t show up very well when swatched with fingers (I had to do a great amount of layering in order to get the vibrancy to show on my arm swatches), but don’t be fooled, these colors have beautiful pigmentation once applied onto the eyes. They have a true-to-color payoff with wonderful blend-ability and adhesion, and are easily build-able. I had an effortless application with these eyeshadows and truly enjoyed how smoothly these colors blended and layered together. There was no patchiness, whatsoever, and they’re very long wearing.
This palette contains the shades:
- Red Earth – reddish burgundy
- Desert Sand – warm medium brown
- Earth Crust – rusted orange
- Mountain Moss – olive green
- Carbon – true black
- Graphite – cool-toned gray
- Night Sky – lovely lavender
- Morning Sky – bright baby blue
Since St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend, I decided to do a green makeup look for the occasion. I love wearing green eyeshadows and had so much fun creating this look!
I used four colors from this palette, along with a separate shimmery gold eyeshadow as the accent color:
- Earth Crust – Crease / Inner & Outer Lid / Lower Lash Line
- Desert Sand – Transition
- Mountain Moss – Crease / Inner & Outer Lid / Lower Lash Line
- Carbon – Lower Lash Line
