I always get excited for a new Mirabella Beauty launch — I’ve been a fan of this brand for years and think that they’re so underrated because the quality and performance of their products are phenomenal (their Black Magic Eyeliner Marker is the best eyeliner pen that I’ve ever used!).
The Visionary Longwear Eyeshadows ($29.00 each) come in three beautiful colors: Imagine (shimmery beige), Vivid (coral pink), and Charmed (dusty pink). These eyeshadows have a cream-to-powder formula that offers a blend-able and build-able color payoff that’s beautifully pigmented and long wearing.
I’m extremely intrigued with the texture and formula of these eyeshadows — they have a spongy, mousse-like consistency that feels ultra soft and lightweight. I don’t own anything like these eyeshadows in my collection and I have to honestly say, I’m quite obsessed.
The eyeshadows are silky to the touch and applies on smoothly and blends effortlessly. They have an even application and sets within a few seconds to a crease-free and budge-proof powder-like finish. They’re easily build-able and are extremely long wearing as well; I wore all three shades on my eyes for over five hours and they held up remarkably well with no creasing or fading, and could’ve probably gone longer with no issues. These colors give the best results when applied with fingers — the warmth from the fingers help melt the product onto the skin to give a beautiful, diffused effect. You can also use these colors on the cheeks, so they’re multi-functional and are perfect for traveling!
Imagine is a shimmery beige with a metallic silvery sheen.
Vivid is a coral pink with fine gold and silver sparkles.
Charmed is dusty pink with microscopic golden shimmers.
The new Balmy Nectar Colour Vinyl Lipstick ($26.00) is a lovely coral pink with a glossy finish. This lipstick has a creamy consistency that glides on smoothly to give an even, semi-sheer payoff. While the color isn’t super opaque, it’s pigmented enough to give full coverage. The argan oil and raspberry extract formula wears comfortably, providing plenty of moisture to hydrate and moisturize lips, which is really nice. The initial shine wore off after about an hour of wear and the coloration lasted over four hours on me through eating and drinking. It also gave a really pretty residual tint on the lips once the color gradually faded after the five-hour mark, which prolonged its wear time a little bit longer.
This lip color is fresh and feminine, and is just beautiful — it’s a shade that I would wear all year-round as I love this type of coral pink color.
Last, but not least, is the Glowing Coral Brilliant Highlighter ($40.00), which is a stunning light coral with a blend of golden champagne. When the two shimmery shades are swirled together, they create a beautiful peachy color that gives skin a stunning luminosity. This highlighter has a creamy texture that applies on readily, blends effortlessly, and is easily build-able. It wears beautifully on its own as a long wearing highlighter (on dark skin tones) or blush (on fair skin tones), and can also be used as a blush topper for an extra pop of radiance.
Since I have fair skin, I like to wear this product as a blush because it provides my skin with a lovely flush of color, while the shimmering finish gives it a beautiful glow.
Here is the makeup look that I created with the products from the new Lighten Up Collection:
I used my fingers to apply and blend all three Visionary Longwear Eyeshadows onto my eyes — Imagine on the inner eye area, Vivid on the outer lid, and Charmed on the lower lash line.
On my lips, I wore the Balmy Nectar Colour Vinyl Lipstick.
For my cheeks, I contoured with a matte bronzer first, then applied the Glowing Coral Brilliant Highlighter onto my cheekbones for a radiant glow.
